So last week i went out with this Japanese girl (Y). Seriously, she is my dream girl and I’m kind a have silence crush on her. She is cute and clumsy.Last minute person.Having 3 part time jobs during the craziness of our unstoppable classes and assignments. Always sleepy in class and she was usually put her head (sleep) on my arm during Wednesday’s morning class which we normally sit at the back of classroom. Even though I gave her a mini chocolate to fresh her up, she keep feeling sleepy while opening the chocolate. She is straight and have 2 years steady boyfriend.
During our Sushi night, I asked her:
Me:You not going out with your boyfriend?
Y:..em..oh. We separating… already..emm separating…(she was looked at me asking approval if she is using a correct word).
Me:..emm..separated?broke up? (i shocked)
Y: hait. emm 3 days ago.
Me: oh…I’m really sorry for asking this.Really really sorry.
Y:no. it’s ok. everything is depending on me (she wants to say its because of her). I found another person during job hunting in Tokyo.
and I was..what???my mouth opened.
Me: Is he kakkoi?(kakkoi is cute, used for boy/man)
Y: Hait tottemo kakkoi (yes, very cute).I want him.I want good job.Having many children. You know, I have big responsible to Japan. To produce more babies.
and I was again…what??not sure if I should laugh or just say ganbatte kudasai (please work hard). Not sure making baby things can be so patriotic.salute for her words. FYI, now, older generation keep increasing and young generation decreasing in Japan. So, having babies are a big deal here.
Me: wow..!Ganbattene (you work hard).I hope you’ll get what you want.
Pheww…she looks totally fine after broke up…and determine to ‘produce babies’. Kawaiine..tottemo kawaii (cute..very cute).
She will pick me up at 6 and we will have a dinner. Yeayyy!!!
